Mark Cromwell BFA Fine Art University of Calgary

Thank you for visiting my gallery! I am an artist currently residing in Calgary Alberta Canada where the seasons change quickly and landscapes present themselves in a wide variety of inspiring ways. After receiving my fine arts degree in 1991, I began work as a commercial artist doing illustration, murals and graphic design. Although this work did not take me far from my passion of painting, it hasn’t been until quite recently that I have really been able to apply myself to capturing the beauty and strength of our Western Canada setting. You’ll notice a variety of subjects in this work, reflecting my interests in fly-fishing and fishing spots, local flora, wild skies and more!
